Admissions Processing Workspace
The Admissions Workspace provides a way to efficiently process student applications. The workspace is applicable to a specific application for a student and other information related to the admissions process is displayed. The screen is divided into data blocks (detailed below) and some blocks are customizable to allow different staff members to view only areas essential to the work they perform. Depending upon user access, some of the data blocks may be used to update information in Banner, however, if the application term has passed all information will be read-only. At the top of the screen, any warnings which may impact admission for the student are displayed (for instance, non-payment of the application fee or conduct issues). The workspace is also integrated with the Admissions Workflow system. If the workspace was accessed from the Admissions Workflow, workflow items applicable to the student’s application will be displayed at the top of the screen.
