Travel Management System

The Travel Management System is used to plan and report on travel that occurs for Admissions Recruiting purposes. The system includes administrative screens that are used by the supervisors in Admissions, screens that are used by the recruiters to plan and organize their trips, and also reporting screens to provide information regarding trips and visits.

Travel: Calendar Summary

The Travel: Calendar Summary screen is a reporting screen used to show by week all of the recruiters that have visits scheduled on certain days of the week.

Travel: School Contact Information

The Travel: School Contact Information screen is used to maintain a list of contacts a particular school (stvsbgi code).  The search icon is used to search for the school and bring back any and all information about that school. The schools address and region that appears on the screen is stored in Banner. The person contact that is marked as primary will be the contact that appears on any reports. Only one person can be marked as primary. A list of all visits to this school appears at the bottom of the screen.

Travel: School Summary

The Travel: School Summary screen is a list of all schools within the region selected. The type of school appears, the number of visits that have occurred or are scheduled, and an indicator whether contact information exists for the listed school.

Travel: Summary

The Travel: Summary screen is a reporting screen that shows summary information of either trips or visits. Other selection criteria are Recruiter, Region or Date. This information can be exported to an excel spreadsheet and it shows more information.

Travel: Trip

The Travel: Trip screen is a screen for the user to schedule/plan trips that will be taken during a recruitment season. Trips will either span time or just include one day. Each trip can have an unlimited number of visits attached to it. The only limitation is that the visit must be planned during the trip begin and end dates.

Travel Maintenance: Event Type

The Travel Maintenance: Event Type screen is used to define different types of events that a recruiter may attend.

Travel Maintenance: Future Visit

The Travel Maintenance: Future Visit screen is used to define different types of future visit statuses.

Travel Maintenance: Position Title

The Travel Maintenance: Position Title screen is used to define the available titles to select from on the School Contact Information screen.

Travel Maintenance: Recruiter

The Travel Maintenance: Recruiter screen is used to define the recruiters and their status. This information is used throughout the system to determine who can be selected on certain screens.

The Travel Maintenance: Trip Status screen is used to define the available statuses of a trip.
