Orientation Registration

This application is used to assign an Orientation Session to a student.  The user inputs a term and UNF ID for a student who has been admitted.  Information about the student and any existing orientation sessions will be displayed.  The user can indicate if the student attended the session or delete the student from a session.  If a session is indicated, then the session date and time, session number, tag, and type will be displayed.  The student’s program, college, major, concentration, student type, admit type, classification, athlete indicator, email address, phone number, override code, heath hold, other holds, birth date, ethnicity, comments, and test scores will be displayed.  The Orientation Sessions for which the student is eligible will be displayed in a list at the bottom of the screen.  The date and time, session number, tag, type, maximum number, number of students assigned (RSVP), number of students who attended, status, and session comment are displayed in the list.  The user will select a session from the list then select the “Update” button to assign the student to the selected orientation session.  A contact code of "R19" is added as a contact type (SORCONT) with the date and time of the Orientation which is used by BRM for communication.  An admission decision of 'AC' is added to the student's record as a confirmation once the student registers for orientation.

Orientation Registration

Students who have been admitted to the University of North Florida may register for Orientation.

The student will select a term and orientation session from the drop-down boxes.  The term selection is based on terms for which the student has been admitted.  The orientation session selection is based on the type of student and whether or not the student has been admitted into the Honors program.  After the student makes the selection and selects the submit button, the selected orientation session is displayed.  The number of reservations for the selected orientation session is automatically updated.  If a student is changing their reservation, then both orientation sessions will be updated. A contact code of "R19" is added as a contact type (SORCONT) with the date and time of the Orientation which is used by BRM for communication.  An admission decision of 'AC' is added to the student's record as a confirmation once the student registers for orientation.
