Robert Berry
Director of Internal Auditing

Robert Berry joined UNF in June 2007 as Associate Director of Internal Auditing. Prior to joining UNF, he spent several years in the financial services industry in variety of roles ranging from Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley and Accounting. Robert also has public accounting and consulting experience with Deloitte and Touché where he worked with a variety of clients in different industries providing services such as general accounting, business process improvement/reengineering, auditing and systems implementation. Additionally, he has experience with Jacksonville based Winn Dixie and EverBank.

Robert earned his B.S. in Accounting from Auburn University in Montgomery. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional and a Certified Controls Specialist. 

Rhonda M. Ware
Senior Internal Auditor

Rhonda Ware joined UNF in January 2012 as Senior Internal Auditor. Rhonda has approximately five years of internal audit experience, most recently with the Office of Inspector General for the City of Jacksonville. Rhonda also has experience with Deloitte as an audit professional, serving various clients in central and north Florida. In addition to internal and external audit experience, Rhonda has worked in accounting operations for various industries, including not-for-profit, retail, real estate development and Department of Defense subcontracting. 

Rhonda earned a B.S. in Accounting from Alabama A and M University, and a Master of Accountancy from the University of North Florida. Rhonda is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida, and also holds the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation. 

Dorothea J. Kent
Support Staff

Dorothea Kent has been employed at the University of North Florida since 1984 and joined the Office of Internal Auditing in July 1999. She graduated with a BAE from UNF and is continuing her education.
