"Swoop Madness!" Basketball Celebration

9 p.m. — The men's and women's basketball teams open practice for the 2007-08 season with a celebration that promises plenty of fun. Festivities begin with the first official practices of the fall for both squads. In addition, the night will feature interactive games and prizes, raffles, giveaways and chances for Osprey fans to get involved in the action. The event will include a "Slam Dunk Challenge," a 3-point shooting contest between the men's and women's squads, and performances by the UNF cheerleaders and dance team.
