I am one of nine regional coordinators serving the Florida Department of Education’s Professional Development Partnership network. My work and my passion, through the North Florida Professional Development Partnership (NFPDP), is to facilitate stakeholder participation in collaborative and effective decision making leading to enhanced outcomes for individuals with disabilities. The partnership includes nine school districts (Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns and Union), regional institutions of higher education, parents, Early Steps programs, the Department of Children and Family Services, and other related school and community stakeholders. Our NFPDP mission is to increase the number of highly qualified teachers and related services personnel for individuals with disabilities, birth through age 21, in northeast Florida.
