Bonobos. Bonobos are one of my favorite primates. This gallery contains photos of Bonobos that I have taken over the years at the Jacksonville Zoo andGardens.

Travels and fieldwork

Barbados 2005. My family spent Christmas 2005 in Barbados, where my wife grew up. These are photos from that trip.
Spain 2004. In June of 2004, my wife and I spent a week in Spain with friends.
Carriacou 2003. My most recent research has focused on French Creole as spoken on Carriacou, Grenada. These photos are from my 2003 field trip.
Belize 2002. In the summer of 2002 I taught an applied linguistics course for teachers at the University of Belize. This gallery contains photos from that experience.
Cuba 2002. Also in summer 2002 I traveled to Cuba to give a paper on language, education, and development at the Universidad de Pinar del Río. These photos are from that experience.
