My lab's focus is on the molecular biology of DNA viruses. An ongoing project seeks to identify mechanisms for regulating papillomavirus DNA replication in different stages of the virus life cycle through molecular analysis of the viral E1 replication protein. A newly initiated project investigates molecular and genetic properties of local freshwater cyanophages.
