ed. by Larson, Hostetler, and Edwards.
Also required in a TI - 83 or other
graphing calculator. (TI-89 and higher are not allowed). |

Regular and prompt attendance is
essential for optimal progress in the course. |

curve: A+ = 98-100, A = 93-98, A- = 90-93, B+ = 88-90, B = 83-88, B- =

Homework
|
Homework will be assigned from the
textbook as stated in class but not collected. Instead, it will be used
for the quizzes (see below). Homework is an integral portion of this
class and should be done as such. |
Quizzes
|
Quizzes last 20 minutes and will be
given approximately every other week as stated in class. |
Exams
|
Exams are based on the homework
problems and lectures. Your calculator is allowed on the exams.
Otherwise, the exams are closed book, closed notes, and open mind.
Exams dates are listed below:
Midterm 1 - Thursday, October 2
Midterm 2 - Thursday, October 30
Final (Cumulative) - Thursday, December 11 (1:00 -
2:50 pm)
