My Cat Boo
born approximately July 1995

Boo (short for Kaboodle) is a very cool cat. Of course most people who have cats think that their cat is very cool...

To give you some history, I was at a point in my life where I wanted a cat. I figured that I was responsible enough (finally!) and that a cat would be a nice addition. So I went to the Humane Society and looked at the rows of cats. I guess I had a picture in my head of what I wanted my cat to look like...and I didn't see it. I was on the other side of the room looking for this fictitional cat that matched the picture in my head when I heard this "mew". So I turned around, walked over to the other side of the room, and, being the sucker that I am, started scratching the head of this black and white cat that was mewing at me. That's when it happened. A guy walked in and pronounced "Well, I gues that cat found it's new owner" and I knew. I was it - literally the cat's meow.

So after work the next day I came back to the Humane Society...only to find that the cat was NOT IN HIS CAGE! I was panicked! Swallowing my anxiety, we walked to the front and waited in line to find out what had happened to the cat. Was he adopted by someone else? My cat?!?! Who had the nerve?!?

Luckily, he was just being fixed and would be available the next day. So I paid the fees, made sure that no one else would get my cat, and was happy.

Ethan loves to play with Boo kitty. And the cat is very patient with him. Poor Boo...

I would like to note that ANYONE WHO HAS AN ANIMAL SHOULD GET IT SPAYED OR NEUTERED. Your animal will live longer and won't be a nuisance by adding to the explosive animal population out there. And please, always try the Humane Society first for a pet. They have wonderful animals that are just waiting for you to love them.
