DIE 3213 - Nutrition Therapy I
In Nutrition Therapy I, students assess nutrient needs and develop
nutrient based care plans for persons with various disease states.
DIE 6248 - Clinical Nutrition
In Clinical Nutrition, graduate students assess nutrient needs, review
and evaluate the current literature, and develop medical nutrition therapy
care plans for persons with various disease states.
DIE 5265 - Nutrition Assessment
In Nutrition Asssessment, graduate students perform the various elements
of a nutrition assessment and evaluate clinical case studies.
DIE 6940 - Supervised Clinical Practice
This seminar is designed for dietetic interns who are placed in clinical
rotations. These rotations each semester focus on food service, community,
clinical, or specialty (student's choice of rotation sites).
HUN 2201 - Basic Principles of Nutrition
Basic Principles of Human Nutrition is an introductory nutrition course
for majors in the College of Health and for others with a personal interest
in nutrition. We study foods and nutrition relative to the health and
well-being of the individual and community. Dietary habits, nutrient
requirements, food choices, and good eating practices are included.
