Selecting the "Email" icon from the gray horizontal panel above the article results in a dialog asking for how to deliver the article. If you want the article delivered directly to your mail box, choose the "Send Copy" option. The other option would send only a link to the article, which would require that you be logged into the library's system to retrieve it.

Clicking the "Send Copy" button results in your email program opening on your computer.
